In 2022, as part of its commitment to South Asian artists, SAWITRI Theatre launched the Gola Sharbet Café, a series of online livestreamed interviews that provided an insight into an artist’s life and career. The challenges that any artist has to overcome to achieve their goals serves to inspire audiences. 

The interviews were launched in January with vocalist Akhila Jog, who has also been SAWITRI Theatre’s wonderful make-up artist for so many productions. It was followed by Shobha Shekhar in February 2022, Ramneek Singh in March 2022, Jazzman Rathore in April 2022.
