Guru

Guru is from the City of Dreams – Mumbai. In his early pursuit as an actor and poet, he was closely associated with Prithvi Theatre and several theatre groups, where he immersed himself in plays, nukkad nataks, poetry sessions, short films, and theatre festivals in India.

Since making his Canadian stage debut in 2018 with Sawitri Theatre, Guru has performed in over 12 plays with different theatre productions across the Greater Toronto Area, taking on versatile roles that reflect his range as an actor. He has also worked in a few short films and is one of the three founding directors of Mizaaj Arts, a not-for-profit dedicated to theatre and poetry.

He looks forward to being part of this full-length play and to once again collaborating with Sawitri Theatre and director Akhil Pandya in their continued pursuit of celebrating Art and the Artist.
