Stivan Sequeira – Treasurer – Stivan Sequeira is an accomplished finance and operations professional with extensive global experience in diverse industries like loyalty, outsourcing and shared services, manufacturing, advertising and marketing. Having lived and worked in 4 different countries over the duration of his existence, he has exceptional people skills; best demonstrated during his role as an Associate Vice President with one of world’s leading outsourcing providers where he was continually called upon to assume challenging projects, turn around client relationships and rebuild staff morale.
Lincoln D’Souza – Vice President – Senior Manager, Chemicals Technology Division, is an award-winning manager who brings his corporate experience and tremendous passion and commitment to SAWITRI Theatre to assist with marketing and development. He is a patron of performing and media arts and is happy to be able to contribute to SAWITRI’s growth.
Medha Date – Secretary – An instrumentation and design engineer by profession, Medha is an Associate at Hatch, a leading engineering company in Mississauga. An outstanding and award-winning student of mathematics and physics, a trained vocalist and an accomplished theatre artist, she attends to every task entrusted to her at SAWITRI with the same passion and precision as her engineering projects.
Elizabeth Banfalvi, Director – Community Outreach & Volunteer Coordination – Having worked in administration and in tax recovery Elizabeth has very strong administration skills. She worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP from 2002 to 2015 when she retired. Since 1996, Elizabeth Banfalvi is a Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist and a Reiki Master since 2002. She teaches meditation and wellness workshops in the continuing education system in Mississauga SBs, Halton Catholic DSB and Brampton Parks and Recreation. She has written a series of books on meditation and is also an author of short stories published on Yahoo, Apple, Amazon and Balboa Press. She conducts workshops at various libraries in Mississauga on stress relief and writing.
Anand Karia – Director-at-large – Anand Karia is a successful and visionary businessman originally from Gujarat, India. He is the President and CEO of Omnisoft Technologies Inc. in India and the President and Co-Founder of UCMAS Canada and USA, companies that have innovative after school child development programs for children ages 4 to 13 years, using mental math and the abacus. He has recently introduced Obotz, a multi-disciplinary robotics program, i-Math, an early learning creative math program for ages 4 to 7 years and JOE, Journey of Entrepreneurship program to help children develop an entrepreneurial mindset through experiential learning.
Rajeev Acharya – Director-at-large –Rajeev Acharya An experienced risk consultant in audit planning, data analysis, execution and reporting with a deep knowledge of business and processes; risk evaluation, mitigation through internal control and process deficiencies.
